At Purchase: The puppy is guaranteed to be healthy at the time of purchase.

Vaccinations: The puppy will be current on vaccinations and deworming at time of purchase.

Note: It is the responsibility of the buyer to continue vaccinations and dewormings after time of purchase . Our puppies leave our home with one 5 way vaccination, that is administered at 7 1/2 weeks, due to their immune systems being too young to handle the vaccination before that. It is recommended every two-three weeks until 16 weeks of age then once annually.

 7 Day Guarantee: The buyer has 7 days from date of purchase to have puppy vet checked. PLEASE, DO NOT EXPOSE YOUR NEW PUPPY TO STRANGE DOGS UNTIL YOU CAN HAVE YOUR PUPPY VET CHECKED! THIS CAN PUT YOUR PUPPY AT RISK. Dawn White guarantees the puppy for seven days from the date of purchase against distemper, corona virus, parvo virus, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, bordetella (kennel cough) and hepatitis. If your puppy is found to have contracted any of these within the seven day warranty period, Dawn White must be contacted immediately. If the puppy should die from one of these illnesses within the seven day period, the puppy must be autopsied by a certified veterinarian, and a written veterinary statement must be obtained. Dawn White must then be contacted within 24 hours. It is the buyers responsibility to provide Dawn White with a NOTARIZED copy of the autopsy report with the cause of death. A replacement puppy of the same breed and sex will be provided from the next available litter, if puppy is found to have died due to one the above illnesses. The replacement will be up to the discretion of the breeder (breeder's choice).

Hereditary or Congenital Defects: Dawn White guarantees for one year against hereditary or congenital disorders that may interfere with the puppies ability to lead a normal life. Conditions are listed and limited to HEART, KIDNEY, LIVER AND HIP DYSPLASIA ONLY. No other condition is covered in this contract. There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, i.e.: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee. Dawn White will replace the puppy under the same conditions as stated above, providing a notarized veterinarian statement is submitted to Dawn White within 10 days from the date of the diagnosis as to the nature of the problem. Once confirmed, original puppy must be returned, at buyer’s expense, along with all paperwork. Once original puppy is returned, a replacement puppy of the same breed and sex will be provided from the next available litter. The replacement will be up to the discretion of the breeder (breeder’s choice).

***Contingency on Health Guarantee: Buyer will continue to give puppy 1/2 wafer of the NuVet Plus each day until puppy weighs 5 pounds, and 1 full NuVet Plus wafer every day after 5 pounds, for the entire 1 year of this Health Guarantee. This Health Guarantee will be considered NULL & VOID in all states if the buyer does not continue to supplement with NuVet Plus.

Your puppy has been supplemented with NuVet Plus vitamins since starting on dry food. This vitamin contains powerful antioxidants which eliminates free radicals and boosts the immune system, creating a preventative against skin and coat problems, various forms of cancer, heart disease, arthritis, cataracts, premature aging, tumors, digestive problems, allergies, as well as HIP DYSPLASIA. This all, in return, will keep your dog out of the vet's office, and extend his/her lifespan. We feel that this is something that we have to do for your new pet as we cannot control the dog food you are feeding, (we recommend Eukaneuba), environmental issues, and the differences within the household and yard. Breeding Guarantee: (This guarantee covers only those puppies sold and marked for breeding/show purposes and does not cover puppies sold and marked for pets.) The males sold for breeding purposes will have both testicles descended and normal at six months of age. The males and females bite shall be correct at six months of age. Above return/replacement procedure applies.

It is hereby understood by both the buyer and the seller of the puppies, that the buyer is responsible for all veterinary costs of every kind and nature after the purchase date, including vaccinations. For all purposes given in these guarantees, the breeder has full say in determining if a refund will be given. No other guarantees are made or implied by Dawn White except those stated in this guarantee, and all guarantees are strictly on a replacement basis.

Conditions:

1.      Breeder Guarantees that the above dog is a purebred dachshund, with Full/Limited (circle appropriate) AKC/CKC Registation. If puppy is sold with full breeding registry, buyer agrees to register puppy’s name as “Dachsiedawns”, and then buyers chosen name. This allows others know who the original breeder of the puppy is, as pedigrees are very important in breeding.

2.      Breeder cannot guarantee adult size, conformation, or color.

3.      Buyer may return the dog for any reason, at the buyer’s expense, to the breeder within 48 hours of purchase. The breeder will refund the full purchase amount minus a $250.00 non-refundable deposit and all shipping costs.

4.      Buyer shall assume full responsibility for health, temperament, and appearance of the above-described dog upon possession.

5.      Buyers further agrees to maintain the dog at all times in good health, with periodic check-ups and all recommended immunizations.

6.      The actions and upbringing of the puppy is the responsibility of the buyer /owner. Under no circumstances will the breeder be held responsible for the dog or the dogs behavior.

7.      If buyer is unable to properly care for said dog for any reason, the breeder will be contacted (first right of refusal) with the option that the breeder will take the dog back with no consequence nor refund to the buyer. The breeder will then take back over full responsibility of said dog.
