Oh my goodness! He's just to good to be true. Every body in cargo thought that he was the sweetest most beautiful puppy they had seen. I would have to agree with them :) He was a cuddle bug on the drive home which took about forty five min. He is quite the little explorer! He has a sweet, playful, outgoing disposition, I couldn't be more thrilled! Thanks again, he's a doll! And I love Him to pieces:) Amber- Texas

We are doing great. Riley went to the vet last Saturday for a checkup and shots. Everything looks good. He is now 5.4 pounds. I lost him in the house tonight and finally found him upstairs. He had not been brave enough to try them until tonight. I guess he finally learned to navigate stairs, at least going up. He has yet to try going down. Thanks again for him. Jeff- Texas

I have one of Dawn`s puppies. We love her very much. She loves to go in the car, inside my jacket. Her dogs are very easy going, and gets along well with my other 4 Dachshunds. She loves to be in my arms all the time. She is starting to sleep though the night alone in her bed. I am very happy with the puppy I got from Dawn. Marla- Oregon

He is just beautiful. He is perfect. He made the trip just fine. The cage was clean, he smells great. His ears are terrific. He is gorgeous, but he is busy. He has decided the bulldog Mable is his best friend. He climbs all over her and runs thru the house like an elephant. Like she wasn't enough on her own... He really isn't interested in the other doxie's, he loves Mable. Our little girl Isabella is Whymee so his name is going to be Whynot and we are going to call him Nottie. He is the center of all our attention...he sleeps with us. I think about how lucky I am to have him all the time..he is such a joy. Warmest Regards, Abigale- Missouri

Our experience with you was great! Dunkun is doing very well. He is used to his crate during the day, no accidents! He is learning the basic commands such as sit, down, stay, come. He is also learning to roll over and to sit while being brushed. He loves to go in the car. He goes everyday with me to take Erika to school. He finally has gotten used to being in his yard by himself. You should have heard him cry before! What a baby! He is growing and eating good. He gets his vit. everyday. He loves to go to town to be with my moms dog. She is a Japanese Chin and is about 10 months old. They have a ball together. Enough bragging, we do love him dearly! Take care, Cheryl Ammeter- Colorado

Merry Christmas, Dawn! I am attaching a photo of Chai. This pose is pretty typical of her, about half the time. The other half she is literally bouncing off the walls! She has an incredibly easy temperament. Nothing really bothers her. I attribute this to her balanced environment from birth on. She has always felt entirely secure and it shows! Ian is in love with her as is the entire Golden High School Soccer Team! It is the funniest thing to see these great big jocks cuddling this little puppy! Thanks for a lovely Pup and enjoy your holidays! Claire and Ian- Colorado

Here is photo of Bonnie. She has quite a unique personality and likes her space. She is very good with people and kids. Her and Ivan are our social dogs. We are really enjoying her and glad we got her. Bob and Debbie- Wyoming

Hi Dawn! The pups are doing great. We named our Dachshund Rocky and he's so cute!!! Rocky is obsessed with playing fetch and having the ball thrown to him every minute of the day. He's so sweet and has grown to be pretty long. He also has such a cute belly. Dexter is the best Jack Russell we could of hoped for. Those dogs are definitely spoiled. They sleep and cuddle with us every night :) When I get access to my computer again I'll send you some updated pics of him. I really want another weenie but we're going to wait a few years. Hope all is well. Mellany- Phoenix, AZ

Jorgia is so beautiful, and she's fitting right in here at home. We had her outside in the front yard yesterday after we got home and all the neighbors came out to see her. Of course she was the life of the party, so to speak. She gets along great with Ginger. (I think Ginger already let her know who is Princess around here, lol.) She slept on my chest all night last night, it was so precious. I think I've convinced Spencer that it's time to install a doggy door for the girls. (I love saying that- the girls) We are so happy. Everyone loves her. My mother-in-law, who lives in Commerce City, even drove out here yesterday just to see her. I'm trying to convince her that she needs to get a new dachsie. Well, Thank again soooo much. We just absolutely love her! She is a bundle of joy! Bless you, Courtney- Castle Rock,CO

I just wanted to update you and let you know she is doing good. Fits in just great . My Tessa ( who is about 8 months) just loves having a friend to play and tug toys with. She is on my lap napping right now. Even though she isn't a belly rub lover she sure enjoys to snuggle by the neck and sit in laps. She is fun and has so much puppy energy . It's neat to have her as part of the family. Kathi- Washington

Hi Dawn! We wanted to give you an update on Stella along with a few pics. We have had her for about two months now and she is doing great! She loves meeting new people and dogs and exploring as much as she can. Her favorite thing to do right now is sit out on the patio, lay in the sun and watch people. She is getting prettier everyday and smarter as well. Her training is going good, as long as she can focus long enough. :) Overall she is a great pup and we are so glad we came to you!

P.S. We would love to bring her out sometime if you would like to see her!

Michelle and Ryan- Denver, CO

**UPDATE**- We do get to see Stella, as we dogsit her when Michelle & Ryan go out of town. She's just beautiful!

Hi Dawn, Just checking to see if you got the newest photo of my spoiled kid. He is so funny. everyone who comes over just loves him. House broke already to. Went in the doggy pool yesterday and today for its been in the 100's. Well got to get some work done. Have a great day Mary of Mary's Mini's- Goldendale, WA

**Side note- 'Beethoven' is one of the top wire haired studs on the West coast region. He has sired many beautiful wire litters, including one who is in the process of earning her AKC Championship title.**

Rufus has fit right into our family! He adjusted after only a few days. He sleeps all night and is comfortable in his crate. He is the darling of the neighborhood, since all the children visit him every day. I think he is the most gentle and tolerant puppy we could imagine. The potty training went well. Although he is very reliable, we don't take any chances with accidents, so we keep him in his crate when we aren't watching him. Our older Dachshund, Roxy, has put him in his place and they get along very well. All in all, he is a wonderful addition to the family. Thanks for everything, Ann and Bill- Colorado

Hi, I just thought I would drop you a letter and let you that the miniature dachsund that we bought from you in the last part of may is doing great and he is the perfection addition to our family. He loves car rides, his best friend Ace (chihuahua), all of his toys, and sleeping. All the pics I sent you are mostly him asleep because its hard to get a pic when hes awake. He is still very much attached to our daughter but loves the rest of the family. We named him Dochy Doolittle and we absolutely love him, he is great. Thanks for selling him to us. Thank you, Cathy- Sterling, CO

I can not tell you what a delight she is, such a happy beautiful puppy. I'd take them all (the puppies) if I could, especially if they are anything like Dusty. She gets along so well with her "sister" it makes me glad I got them at the same time. They do double team me sometimes but its worth it. :) I've attached a picture of her in her dress but she surly doesn't like to get dressed up like her "sister" does, I think she was embarrassed. I hope you don't mind but I have been recommending your site to those who are looking for a puppy. I can't say but good things about Dusty. Thanks again and I will defiantly keep you updated as she grows. Tiffany- Florida

Hi Dawn, We named the puppy Dulce (means sweet or candy). She is so small but doing very well. She got the doggy door figured out right away, we were concerned she didn't have enough power to get in and out but she managed just fine. She has done very well when we take her out, she goes right away. No Number 1s in the house yet so that is another big plus. Charlie and her are playing to no end and she will keep up with him...biting his legs and hiding out underneather (or attacking from below). She usually only needs taken out once at night so that is a big plus as well. I will keep you posted. Thanks, Shawn- Denver, CO (side note** Charlie is also one of our puppies)**

Here is a photo of Darci on my bed. Darci is spoiled for sure. She gets to run around with the best of them. And she does get to my heart strings. She is so loveable. She is just a baby still. She will learn. I love her personality. Everyone loves her coloring. I'll just be glad when she has stopped teething. Have to keep a close eye on her :) .... Thanks Again, Molly

Hey, I don't know if you would remember me, but me and my dad and mom bought a puppy from you. I just wanted to say I LOVE the dog that we bought from you. Her name is Cocoa, but we just call her Bean. She is so loveable and when I was at my saddest point, she would always make me feel so much better. She is just so darn cute, and a little snuggle bud and she is the best dog in the whole world! Ha! I would love another, but I have no money, and I dont think that my mom and dad would like that very much, ha! But I love the puppies that you haven't sold especially the long haired ones that are brown. That's what bean is. I love her. Thank you so much, and if you ever just want to get rid of a puppy GIVE IT TO ME! I love my bean so much! Jolene, Englewood, CO

I am very happy with my 2 perfect babies. Both puppies have excellent confirmation; coats are beautiful in color and pattern (female smooth blue dapple & male long hair chocolate piebald). I’ve been to Dawn’s home to get my puppies. The dams and puppies are kept inside and well socialized (being exposed to her children ranging in age and clients that are welcome in the home). My husband and I have received numerous compliments on both dogs when we are out in public. “I have never seen a Dachshund like that before! Where did you get him/her?” I highly recommend Dawn White as a breeder if you are looking for a really well put- together dachshund both physically and emotionally. Dianna- Austin, TX

Hi Dawn, You wouldn't think these pics were of the same doxie. The color changes were mainly her ears which are now fawn colored like a deer. Extremely curious and so alert. A wonderful watchdog. She attended Obedience class for 6 weeks which helped us a lot in training her!! It was nice and sunny this morning so got a good picture of doxie Angel. She has on her leopard and rhinestone harness and it does sparkle!!! She loves to just go outside, sit and WATCH. She's waiting for the squirrels to show.....there's a couple that are so playful and they pretty close to Angel. She is in the exercise run and sits so quiet watching them. But what you can't see in the pic yet is she is getting a lot of little wirehairs on her face and neck around her mouth (whiskers) and standing up on her body. This is going to be interesting to see what she looks like when fully grown. We love her to pieces and can't imagine life without her. Mary- Ft. Collins, CO

Dawn- I just thought that I would give you an update on the puppy we adopted last Sunday. We have decided to name her Aspen. She is adjusting really well and we've all grown to love her! We took her to the vet yesterday and she gave her stamp of approval. We will return in a few weeks for her 16 week shots and rabies. It sounds like we may have her spayed in late June to early July. I will let you know when it happens for sure. Thanks so much for such a great puppy! Here are a few pictures of Aspen in her new home - enjoy! Thanks again! Patricia H., 5th grade D-track Canyon Creek, CO

Dawn, We love Roxie and she has the greatest personality. She is curious like all dachshunds and will get into the strangest predicaments. The other day we could not find her but we knew she would be upstairs because she does not go down the stairs. To make a long story short she ended up underneath our recliner guess it looked like a den to her. She loves to lay around with our other dog Maggie and a lot of the time you will find them laying on the couch with their heads on each others backs sleeping. Her favorite thing to do though is to lay on your lap and fall asleep with all four legs up in the air. Thanks Mark-Broomfield

Hi Dawn – just wanted to report in that Dibby’s doing well and playing and having fun! She’s at work with me today as I smuggled her in and it’s show and tell at the office! Everyone loves her (but me the most)! I’ve attached a few photos and will keep you posted as she grows! I hope you had your baby by now and things are going smoothly. Tammy- Denver, CO

Hi Dawn! I just wanted to write and let you know how the little guy is doing. First of all, I have to say..he is soooooo Precious! He is with me every second of the day! He doesn’t like the cold wood floors (or cold weather). So we bought him a sweater..so cute! He is doing really well with potty training and loves hopping around through the grass outside. He is eating well and drinking well. I have been saturating his food with warm water as he seems to like that better. We are using the vitamins. Thanks so much for sending them so quickly. He sleeps next to the bed in a kennel with a big fuzzy blankie and I found this cuddle toy that you can microwave. He loves that! Anyway, all in all I think he is adjusting well. We have decided to call him Watson..as in Sherlock Holmes and.. I hope you enjoy the pictures. I will send you more as I snap them. Thank you so much for letting him be a part of our family. Cassandra- Aurora, CO

Hi Dawn - I meant to email you sooner to send some photos of Angus, but I finally got around to it. There is one of him with our other dog Gwynevere and one of him after he discovered that it was fun to grab the end of the toilet paper and run around the house with it. He is doing great. He's just over 6 months now, probably just under 10 pounds. Oddly, his coloring has changed a bit since we brought him home. He has a lot of silverish hairs on his belly and halfway up his sides, mixed in with the black, and he also has silver at the tops of his ears - makes him look distinguished! As his hair grows out, it is very wavy - it curls around his tail now. He is very mischievous and into everything, and a lot of fun. He and our other dog get along fine. Your other puppies are really cute too! Becky- Castle Rock, CO

Thank you for letting us see those new little ones! They are adorable. I thought I'd send a pic (or 2) of Judah from several weeks ago! Thanks again, we LOVE him!! Biby Family- Monument, CO

Hi Dawn I just wanted to let you know that Dexter has absolutely fit in perfectly in our family. He is the most adorable puppy and everyone loves him. He loves to curl up and sleep on my chest and neck. He is full of love. The cutest thing he does is when he sees an object that is bigger than him he feels so proud when he can pull it any distance. It is the funniest thing. We just love him I just can’t believe how all of our other animals accepted him immediately. He is a hoot. Anyway all is going well including the potty training. He has accidents but the crate is working pretty well. Take Care, Patty- Parker, CO

Merry Christmas to you and yours! Just wanted to update you on Benji. He certainly is the sweetest thing we have ever had! He loves everyone and everything especially children. When we are in Pet Smart, he seeks the children out and loves to be petted. We have been trying to take him frequently in the car so he has become quite the traveler. He settles in for a nap as soon as we tell him to lie down. He loves the phrase "Let's go" as he knows it is adventure time. Needless to say, both Joe and I love him dearly already. I enclosed a picture of him after his first haircut - he can see now without having to look through hair - and , if possible, is even cuter! I also enclosed a pic of he and Addie, our daughter's chocolate lab. Benji loves for Addie to come visit and Addie, while not quite so exuberant, really enjoys teaching Benji all sorts of fun games. They play nonstop! We are interested in another puppy from Tootsie. Will be watching for her next litter after her much needed rest from Benji's litter. I still love looking at your site! May your new year be blessed. Thank you again for a wonderful Benji Boy! Terri- Raleigh, NC

Hey, Dawn, My mother-in-law sent me a picture she took of Pluto and I wanted to forward it to you. thank you so much for pluto we all love him so much. all the best! Amber Glennon- Albequerque, NM

**Side note- 'Pluto' was the first of his kind in the country! He is a blue extreme piebald silky wire. We are very proud of this little guy. He's a product of my years of careful, and specific breeding to get his color, coat and pattern.**

Hi Dawn, Here is a picture for your Happy Families, of our li'l "OTTER ATUA" he is doing great and I think he has reached his full weight of a whopping 7.5 lbs, we love him and thank you very much for our lil' babe...... Take care! Dani & Estin- British Columbia, Canada
